ode to colette
Herbarium
In Colette's herbarium, we find a rose with frosted flesh and the scent of peach, a gardenia with luscious petals, and black pansies with coats of purple, violet and indigo velvet. This collection is an ode to Colette, to her love of flowers, which she captured so well with her sharp wit and poetic pen.
For her, I wanted to draw a herbarium, a free and shameless herbarium. This herbarium is also the little piece of garden that we keep in our hearts, and that we take with us wherever we go.
