Who are we?

Who are we?

We draw silk tales

We draw tales on silk

At Petitjean Paris, we create poetic silk squares, made in Lyon and Como, the two cradles of excellence in silk craftsmanship.
Founder Léa Petitjean draws inspiration from her childhood memories, from Provence to the Jura, from Parisian strolls to enchanted gardens, to create bucolic, luminous collections.

At Petitjean Paris, we edit silk scarves that combine poetic design and the know-how of Lyon silk manufacturers. The founder, Léa Petitjean, is inspired by her childhood memories, from Provence to the Jura, from Parisian strolls to enchanted gardens to create bucolic and luminous collections.

Léa Petitjean was born in the Jura, a mountainous and wild region with a precious wine and craft heritage. She moved to Provence at an early age and grew up in the brightly lit landscapes of the scrubby valleys and shepherd's paths that have seduced so many painters.

About twenty years later, she left the south and the humanities for Paris and a business school. Through her first professional experiences, she discovered the world of luxury and more precisely the Haute-Joaillerie, before launching her own house to associate poetic motifs with the know-how of the silk makers of Lyon.

"It doesn't look like a rose, not even like the little blushing, moved rosehip, except that it has five petals, like everyone else...

It's called a Christmas rose. A good snow, not too powdery, and winter nights with a westerly breeze, are just the thing for the hellebore."

The true journey of discovery is not about seeking new landscapes, but about having new eyes."
