THE ART OF STORYTELLING
THE ART OF STORYTELLING
At Petitjean Paris, we create carrés en soie , crafted in Como, the Italian cradle of silk craftsmanship.
Founder Léa Petitjean draws inspiration from her childhood memories—from Provence to the Jura, from strolling through Paris to enchanted gardens—to create bucolic and luminous collections.

At Petitjean Paris, we edit silk scarves that combine poetic design and the know-how of Lyon silk manufacturers. The founder, Léa Petitjean, is inspired by her childhood memories, from Provence to the Jura, from Parisian strolls to enchanted gardens to create bucolic and luminous collections.
“I paint each design by hand to create imaginary gardens.”

PROFILE OF THE FOUNDER
Léa Petitjean was born in the Jura, a rugged region where the forests are covered in moss.
She then grew up in Provence, where she developed a deep love for light and color.
A self-taught painter, she studied humanities, where she nurtured her passion for storytelling and literature, and later attended business school.
After starting her career in Paris in the fine jewelry industry and then in New York, she launched her own line of carrés en soie.
Her ambition? To create carrés en soie—that iconic accessory of French fashion—that are admired like paintings and worn like perfumes.
